19th Century Mongolian a precious enlightener, a known poet, Gobi saint Danzanravjaa had established ‘Khamar Monastery’ at the one of those beautiful view sites of Gobi region in 1822. Danzanravjaa had been staying and creating most of his great creations in this monastery. This tour is of high value. With relatively little cost one can experience the beauties and mysteries of Mongolian Gobi desert and experiment a train journey through the southern part of Mongolia. Excursion to one of the largest sand dunes in Mongolia, 18th century Buddhist Monastery of Khamariin Hiid built by famous Mongolian religious aristocrat, poet Danzanravjaa well know as lama of the Gobi and dinosaur fossils revealed by wind in sandy surface and remains of petrified trees aged 65 million year are some of the features of this tour.

Day 1.  Ulaanbaatar
Arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport or Ulaanbaatar Train Station and meet our guide and driver. Transfer to hotel and check in* (The check in and out time is 12.00 in the noon and early check in is not guaranteed) Relaxing in the morning. Lunch and afternoon short city tour in Ulaanbaatar city: visit Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan’s monument, National Museum of Mongolian History, and Zaisan Memorial for Panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2. Train Ride to Sainshand
Take train to Sainshand one of the largest towns in the southern Gobi. In the evening arrive in town and relax at hotel.

Day 3. Khamar Monastery and Land of Shambala
The day exploring sophisticated heritage of Danzanravjaa, the fifth reincarnate Lama of the Gobi. Your discovery will start as visiting Local museum where displays objects form Khamar Khiid Monastery and belongings of Danzanravjaa, Terrible lama of the Gobi and continues to Khamariin Khiid Monastery and land of Shambala, once which was center of education  and enlightens of regular people. Same time practised both yeallow and red sect of Buddhism. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 4. On train to Ulaanbaatar
Early in the morning drive to the Black mountain of wish where local people believe that Ravjaa appointed to meet his follower in the future. According to the locals belief everyone’s wish told there is came true with bless of Ravjaa’s spirit. After that visit local camel herder family in order to explore their lifestyle and ride a camel. Late afternoon come back Sainshand. After dinner ride a night train to Ulaanbaatar . overnight at train.

Day 5. Ulaanbaatar
Early in the morning arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Breakfast in the restaurant.  Visit Gandan Monastery, the largest Buddhist center in Mongolia which was established in 19th century.  After some relax at the hotel shopping at cashmere and souvenir shops. In the evening enjoy Mongolian folklore performance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6. Departure
Check out the hotel and transfer to airport of train station.
