Tour info
The most significant event of the year in Mongolia is the Naadam Festival, well-known as the Eriin Gurvan Naadam. During Naadam, nomads engage in three of Mongolia’s traditional manly sports, including wrestling, archery and horse racing. Women also participate in the archery and girls participate in horse-racing. Naadam was celebrated for centuries as a test of courage and strength of the nomadic people and warriors. People travel from all corners of the country as well as overseas to enjoy the Naadam festival. This celebration is held across the country, usually between 11 to 13 July, to mark the anniversary of the 1921 Mongolian Revolution.

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel and relax. Afternoon city tour visiting central museum and In the afternoon City tour including a visit to the central square, National History Museum, where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present.  In the evening enjoy Mongolian folklore concert.

Day 2. Terelj National park
Transfer to Terelj National Park and arrive at Terelj Lodge. On the way visit to 8th century Turkish stele of Tonyukuk surrounded by balbals and tombstones and equestrian monument of Chinggis Khaan.  Following dinner, clients will be given a demonstration and training class for the traditional Mongolian sport of archery. Day 3. Naadam festival day
Breakfast drive to Ulaanbaatar to attend opening ceremony of the Naadam festival in the central stadium and experience archery, uncle bone wrestling contests. In the evening welcome to vist Gala event of Naadam festival o the central square.

Day 4. Horse ricing in Hui Doloon Hudag
Second day of the Naadam festival visit horse racing place in Hui Doloon Hudag and enjoy race foe longest distance and return to the stadium in order to see final rounds of the wrestling and closing ceremony of the Naadam.

Day 5. Kharkhorum
Drive to Kharkhorin, currently a small local town founded on the ruins of Karakorum, capital city of Genghis Khan’s Mongol Empire of the 13th Century. After a long journey of 400 km/7 hours with lunch in a tourist camp on the way, we arrive at Orkhon Monuments. Monuments with ancient inscriptions were erected by Turks in Hushuu Tsaidam, about 45 kilometers north of Karakorum, to the east of Orkhon River.  Visit the two inscribed monuments of Bilge Kagan and Kul Tigin. Then have a short drive to reach our final destination for today – Kharkhorin. Overnight in Mongolian ger.

Day 6. Khustai National park
Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Erdenezuu, was built on the ruins of Karakorum in 1586 on the orders of Abtai Sain Khan, a distant but powerful relative of Chinggis Khaan. Stone monuments, bricks and many other building materials from the ruins of Karakorum were used in the construction of the monastery. and  Drive to the Khustai national park which is established in 1993 in order to facilitate reintroduction project of the Takhi, central Asian wild horse. Visit core zone of the park to see wild horses and other animal in the national park such as marmot, deer, red deer and more. Overnight at ger camp

Day 7.  Ulaanbaatar
In the morning, see the Przewslki wild horses, being raised in the reserve in sem-captivity. Then drive to Ulaanbaatar. Visit Mongolian National History museum and Gandan Monastery. Some shopping opportunity to cashmere and souvenir shops. overnight in hotel.

Check out hotel and transfer to airport. Departure.
